(FOX Providence) – We use cleaning products daily from our home to school and work, but many cleaners contain toxic chemicals and could pose a health risk.

Green cleaning coach and author of ‘The Joy of Green Cleaning,’ Leslie Reichert joined the Rhode Show with some safe cleaners that you can actually make yourself at home.

Leslie, brought three simple recipes:

1) The first one is green cleaning scrub that’s good to remove stains from sinks and countertops

Baking soda
Table salt
Borax
Essential oil (for fun)

2) The next one is an all purpose counter top cleaner.

Vinegar
Club soda
Hydrogen peroxide
Tea tree oil

3) The third is actually a special cloth that takes the place of glass cleaner. There is no spray, and no glass cleaner just a microfiber cloth. Just wet it and get cleaning.
